The writers conference is over and it was and is a real blessing. New contacts and a new special friend. It was good to see faculty and friends from last year too. You never know what will happen when you go. I made the mistake of using a restroom stall that had a faulty lock and couldn't get out. Thank God there were women there to help. Someone got a coin and unlocked the door from the outside. I could just seen me crawling under the stall. LOL
I have many rewrites to do plus a new book that only has one chapter and needs to be changed. Hopefully I can get at least one project completed before the end of the year. Of course the grass needs mowed and I had scads of laundry to do. Praise God we made it church and I didn't fall asleep.
On an even greater praise, we almost ran out of gas on the turnpike and were running on fumes. Exiting, a kind man named Paul, had just gotten 5 gallons of gas for his motorcycle. He gave it to us and wouldn't let us pay for it. Please pray that God blesses him one hundred fold for that act of kindness. The "we" in this part is my sister and me. We literally prayed the car off the turnpike without it stalling. God is so good. Our prayers were answered.
Keep writing. Follow the path God has you on and may He abundantly bless you.

Maybe Paul was on the road to Damascus Maryland.
