Happy Monday!  It's dreary outside but it's always sonny at my house. That wasn't a misprint. My husband's nickname is Sonny so it's a family joke.

I am working diligently to get my mystery romance published. Did anyone ever tell you how much work is required to set up a platform to advertise your work? Believe me when I say it is quite a job but well worth the time.

Are you a writer? Do you have an idea for a book? Don't just sit there. Start by making an outline of your chapters. If something happens in your life, write it down. Many of the incidents in my book came from my own experiences.

You never know how successful you can be if you don't make the effort. Take that first step and start typing. Be thankful for your computer. I'm sure most of you have never tried to erase a mistake from an old typewriter. It usually left a hole in the paper which is a clue to my age.

Don't let your age stop you. Many writers began early in life while others were much older so I am giving you this challenge. Two words: do it!
